Dry Skin

Dry skin is a result of lack of natural sebum (oil) production. Skin can feel rough and tight due to an unhealthy skin barrier, which means individuals with naturally dry skin need extra care to help stimulate oil production. The goal with this skin type is to use products that stimulate oil production and are occlusive, which helps repair and strengthen the skin's barrier.

Dehydrated

Dehydrated skin is a lack of water in the skin. This can happen due to over-exfoliation, harsh product use, medications, and the environment. The goal with this skin type is to use products that help keep the skin hydrated. Using products with humectants will draw water back into the skin while occlusive products will help prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

Step 2: Exfoliate
1–3 times per week, follow cleansing with your exfoliator. Be sure to follow the instructions on the product packaging for best results.

Step 3: Mist
Use your facial mist twice daily, after cleansing. On days when you exfoliate, apply the mist after exfoliating.

Step 4: Serum
Follow with your serum twice daily, after misting. Allow serum to dry before moving to the next step. If using multiple serums apply thinnest consistency to the thickest.

Step 5: Moisturize

Step 6: Protect
In the morning, finish your routine with broad-spectrum SPF to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
