- Hello there. Epicuren’s X-treme Cream Propolis Sunscreen SPF+ contains Mauritia Flexuosa (Buriti) Fruit Oil which is rich in vitamin C. Buriti Fruit Oil also contains Beta Carotene (pro-vitamin A), essential fatty acids, and vitamin E.
- Can the x-tream cream sunscreen be used on it’s own as a moisturizer
- Hello there, yes the Xtreme cream does have moisturizing qualities in it. We would recommend a separate moisturizer be applied before this, but if you feel it is enough that is fine. Thank you!

- I have been using this sunscreen for years and love the way it goes on and makes my skin soft and dewy but recently found out that some of the active chemical ingredients are deemed unsafe. Will you be re-formulating this product any time soon?
- Per FDA regulations, all sunscreen ingredients used by Epicuren Discovery are deemed safe and effective. However, two sunscreen ingredients, oxybenzone and octinoxate, have been banned in some areas as they contribute to coral bleaching. Of these two, Epicuren currently uses octinoxate in its sunscreens and we are working diligently to find replacements.
